PETS and owners had a great day at last year’s Dog Day
THIS Sunday, April 12, is the day Fuengirola acknowledges its dogs with a traditional Dog Day event.
Held for the sixth time, the event will start at 10am at Plaza de España before a parade of pets travels along Calle Cuesta and the seafront to the Parque Fluvial riverside park.
Approximately 20 stands will be set up at the park providing dog-related products and information, one of which will be held by Canes, the managers of the municipal dog pound, with dogs waiting for adoption on show.
Training and agility exhibitions by the municipal training school and another by the National Police force will provide an impressive display of doggie determination.
