ALL small and medium businesses in Palma will be allowed to sell their products in public streets from tomorrow (April 9) until next Saturday (April 11).
The initiative, called Feria de Stocks, was organised by the trade unions of Mallorca’s commercial sector, Pimeco and Afedeco.
In a press conference held yesterday (Wednesday, April 8) representatives Bernat Coll and Pau Bellinfante explained that more than 200 shops would participate in the project, which last took place in March 2013.
“They will be allowed to sell their products in the public streets without having to pay additional taxes, as long as they do it during commercial hours, occupy the space near their businesses’ façades and do not represent obstacles for pedestrians,” finished Mr Bellinfante.
