Adapted park in Capdepera welcomes all children to play

THE children’s park of Plaza Castellet in Cala Rajada (Capdepera) has undergone comprehensive renovations to be adapted for children with disabilities.

Plans have covered the replacement of the pavement with a rubber material as well as the elimination of obstacles.

Three new pieces of playground equipment especially designed for the integration of children with disabilities have been installed: a swing, a rocking horse and a booth.

The renovations were an initiative launched by the town’s Social Services and Environment departments and have been paid for by the council and the associations Tip Tap and Rotary Club.
