AVE high speed trains were delayed on Thursday afternoon, April 9, due to a hailstorm.
Electrical supply to the lines was affected by hail between Calatrava and Ciudad Real, causing a train on the Sevilla-Malaga route to grind to a halt and delaying three other trains heading to or from Malaga.
Renfe rail company had to send an empty train to collect stranded passengers, and the line was held up for more than half an hour.
