THE new dog park of Velez-Malaga will be completed before the end of the month.
Environment councillor, Antonio Martin, said in a press conference that the new dog park currently being constructed in Calle Olivareros (near the ecological Senior Citizens’ vegetable patches) will be ready by the end of April.
Mr Martin explained that the new facilities will have a surface of 15,200 square metres, which places it as one of the biggest dog parks in the whole of Andalucia.
“It is located near the Thursday market area, is completely fenced in and 360 trees have been planted, as well as most of the grass. The park will cost a total of €127,000 paid for by the town council,” said the councillor.
