THE average price of second-hand cars in the Balearic Islands has increased by 11.9 per cent in March, if compared with the same month of 2014.
The average price of these vehicles has reached €11,116, according to information provided by online site coches.net.
The price sits €1,242 below the national average of €12,358.
However, buyers are more often interested in vehicles at a more affordable price, being 43.5 per cent of them those who request a price below €5,000.
The most common second-hand cars offered in the Islands were the Volkswagen Golf (3.1 per cent), the Mercedes Class A (2.4 per cent) and the Seat Leon (2.2).
