FOUR new children’s parks and two parks with sports equipment will be created in Motril.
The town council has awarded the project to company Juegos Kompan SA, with an allocated budget of €82,568.
“We want to create infrastructures which have long been requested by all residents. These areas are expected to be completed by next summer,” said the town mayor, Luisa Garcia Chamorro.
The new children’s parks will be located in the Plaza de la Aurora and the north area of Rambla de los Alamos, near the municipal athletics stadium. The fourth new park will be located in the play centre Marsala (Varadero).
The parks with sports equipment will be placed in the Plaza de las Hermanas Mercedarias and Puntalon.
