ALHAURIN EL GRANDE and Mijas have decided to join forces to attract tourists.
A combined activity will be offered by the two as of May 13, offering visits to the historical centres and the La Paca mill.
Mijas Tourist councillor Santiago Martin announced that the new visit is being promoted amongst tour operators that work in the area.
The daytrips will include guided tours in Spanish and English, a flamenco show at the Virgen de la Peña square in Mijas and visits to other local attractions along with oil, wine and cheese tastings.
The day trips, which will run every Wednesday, can be booked through tourist offices and tour operators.
