A RONDA legionnaire intends to cycle more than 1,000km between Ronda and Santiago de Compostela to raise funds for children with leukaemia.
Corporal Manuel Marcos Becerra, aged 34, aims to take off on his adventure in June and will split the ride into four stages, stopping at Zafra, Bejar and Astorga.
Along with raising funds for Fundacion Cris, Becerra intends to raise awareness of the importance of giving cyclists a wide berth on the roads, something drivers often forget, which causes many accidents.
