Fuengirola theatre starts birthday bash with mag launch

THE Friends of the Theatre Association (FOTA) begins celebrations for the 30th Anniversary of the Salon Varietes Theatre this Friday, April 17, with the launch of a commemorative magazine.

Everyone is welcome to the launch, which will take place from 12.30 to 2pm at the theatre in Fuengirola.

The 50-page magazine will be available from the theatre throughout the year and features many articles and lots of photos of shows past and present and social events.

Celebrations will continue in June with The Reunion Weekend, the highlight of which will be an anniversary concert at Mijas Auditorium on June 13.

The concert will involve more than 80 talented performers and be produced by John Gale, who is appearing at Salon Varietes this weekend in his brand new show “One Night in Vegas” along with Ricky Lavazza.
