HUERCAL-OVERA families recently received advice on protecting small children from domestic accidents.
Statistically under-fives are most at risk and Huerca-Overa Town Hall organised a talk and demonstration on preventing or, in a worst-case scenario, handling accidents in the home.
Choking on toys, poisoning from cleaning products or medication and fire or electricity injuries were during covered the session.
“We hope this will help families when they are faced with an emergency,” said Huercal mayor Domingo Fernandez.
