18 cars per day towed in Palma

AN AVERAGE of 18 vehicles are taken away every day by the municipal tow truck in Palma de Mallorca.

As explained by a Palma Local Police spokesperson, the usual causes are parking in a private driveway, in a parking space for disabled residents or in pay-and-display areas without having paid the necessary fee.

Currently, there are 1,248 cars in the municipal vehicle pound, as well as 342 motorbikes.
