TWO British holidaymakers were evacuated by helicopter from a cruise ship travelling from Palma to Corsica yesterday, April 22.
Maritime Rescue services received a petition for evacuation from the Island Escape at 6am regarding a 70-year-old man with heart problems who required urgent medical attention.
A helicopter was dispatched from Palma coordination centre and arrived on the ship at 8am to carry the man and his wife to Son Espases hospital.
