A PASSENGER on a Glasgow to Alicante flight was arrested upon arrival for drunken behaviour.
The young man was part of a group travelling on the Jet2.com flight from Glasgow, believed to be headed for Benidorm for a stag do. The group was disturbing other passengers with singing, shouting and running down the aisle of the plane.
The captain continued with the flight and landed safely at Alicante-Elche airport where Guardia Civil agents were waiting and arrested the man. He was detained in the barracks for a few hours before being allowed to follow his party on to Benidorm.
However, he had to arrange another flight back to Glasgow as Jet2.com banned him from flying with them.
