NBA camp for basketball-mad kids

BASKETBALL-MAD kids on the Costa will have a great opportunity this summer to join an NBA training camp at La Lobilla sports centre in Estepona.

Sponsored by Gigantes del Basket (Basketball Giants) magazine, the camp will run from June 29 to July 4 and be led by NBA trainer and senior director of basketball operations for the NBA, Neal Meyer.

A total of 250 children between the ages of five and 17 can take part in this unforgettable experience, providing a unique opportunity to young players, Meyers explained.

The NBA trainer with 15 years experience will be holding real NBA training routines, clinics and skill-development sessions emphasising the basics of the game. Along with lessons, children taking part will receive NBA clothing and prizes. All the activities will be held in Spanish and English.
