FOLLOWING Salon Varietes’ launch of a magazine celebrating their 30th anniversary year, the Fuengirola theatre is planning an extravaganza for June 13.
The theatre members are working hard organising a show that will include 80 performers singing songs from a wide variety of musicals. This spectacular will take place in the auditorium in Mijas village.
Graham Cherry, the president of theatre board SALVA, said that this year had been better than ever for the theatre, producing some exceptional shows that have attracted audiences like never before. Graham is also very thankful for Friends of the Theatre (FOTA), who have helped to raise funds in previous difficult times.
Valerie Williams, president of FOTA, and vice-president Norma Wilson have been heavily involved in all kinds of fundraising, which has gone hand-in-hand with the successful shows to make Salon Varietes great once more.
Raffle tickets are currently being sold by the theatre, and the winning ticket will be drawn at the show on June 13. Proceeds will go to cancer charity CUDECA. Be sure not to miss this spectacular show, a definite date for your diary.
