British copper helps out on holiday

A BRITISH policeman on holiday in Mijas jumped in to help when an off-duty local officer was punched by a biker.
The off-duty policeman reported having been forced to do an emergency stop to avoid hitting a speeding motorbike in the village, and realising the man was drunk told him to wait for a patrol to arrive and carry out tests.
The man then allegedly threw a number of punches at the policeman, injuring his jaw and right ear, before attempting to flee the scene.
The tourist saw what was happening and rushed to help hold the man still until a patrol arrived.
The man, who did not hold a motorbike licence, was arrested.
