365 Estepona workers to ensure smoother summer services

ESTEPONA Council is taking on 365 unemployed people for two-month periods as part of the second Municipal Employment Scheme.
As of Monday, May 4, the first workers will begin their tasks in various municipal departments including maintenance, parks and gardens, administration and cleaning among others.
The rest of the workers will gradually start in June and July in an effort to ensure public areas and services are sufficiently covered for the busy summer months.
Two further employment schemes are currently being prepared, the council has announced.
