Revamp for Nijar streets

ROADS inside Nijar are currently being repaired, both in the centre of town and outlying areas.
San Isidro, Campohermoso, Los Nietos and Atochares are covered by various investment programmes although work in the Eras district is a town hall project. One of the town’s most emblematic neighbourhoods, this is divided into the Calle Nueva commercial zone, the Old Town and the historic potters’ quarter.
The narrow, twisting roads in this section have needed repaving for some time, residents have said, and this was included in improvements to the area that also take in new electricity cables for private homes as well as streetlights.
