A NEW park will be created in Motril and the emblematic Parque de los Pueblos de America will undergo an extensive series of renovations.After the work is completed, the town will count a total of 278 gardens and green areas, according to council representatives.“Our commitment is to reenergise the Parque de los Pueblos de America, providing it with better lighting and play areas, as well as creating a park in the west area of the town,” said councillor for Infrastructure Management, Nicolas Navarro. The new park is expected to be located in the area of the shopping centre Alcampo.“Parks are some of the most valued facilities for local people and we want to let them know that every time we remove a tree, we plant another five or six,” said the councillor.
