GERMAN supermarket chain ALDI is to open six new shops in Mallorca on May 20.These new establishments will occupy a total of more than 7,000 square metres of commercial space, located in the municipalities of Palmanova, Magaluf, Inca, Marratxi and Palma de Mallorca.In a press release, the company explained that they hoped the inauguration of these shops would help re-energise the island economically and allow shoppers to enjoy a greater variety of product options.Aldi has more than 5,000 shops across nine different countries, with 250 located in Spanish territory.
