Extra day added for Spanish voting by post

WITH the UK general election votes all in as the polling stations closed, the Spanish election circus spins into action.
If you wish to vote by post and were worried about getting to the post office in time, the cut-off date to vote by post in the Spanish municipal elections has been put back to May 21.
The Correos post offices have added an extra day following an agreement reached by the Central Electoral Board.
It will be up to the post office to ensure that the votes received by this date reach the polling stations in time.
Although the last day was initially set for May 20, people wishing to vote by post will have an extra day to do get their votes to Correos.
