MOJACAR Council recently installed 75 lamp-standards in areas where street lighting was formerly insufficient.Camino de Las Eras del Lugar has 59 new streetlights, while Calle Charcos de Bermejo, Calle Velazquez and Calle Tomillo were amongst others that have benefited from the €72,000 project. Repairs were also carried out on faulty lampposts elsewhere in the town.“Streets must have adequate lighting, to make it safer and easier for the people of our town,” said councillor Agustin Montoya.
