MS Anthem of the Seas, one of the largest cruise ships in the world, and the largest ever to dock at North Mole, has made its much awaited inaugural call at the port of Gibraltar.
The arrival of this floating wonder of engineering is the culmination of a week of hectic activity at the port with the visit of twelve cruise vessels in less than seven days, three of which are inaugural stops.
The arrival of this 18-deck Quantum class megaship was met quayside by a fanfare provided by the band of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment.
The Minister for Tourism Samantha Sacramento, accompanied by GTB CEO Nicky Guerrero was present at the cruise terminal to welcome the vessel together with representatives of the Gibraltar Port Authority, who attended a reception on board.
