Warning as gang appears to be targeting Benijofar businesses

A WARNING has gone out to residents and businesses in the Benijofar area after two salon workers were sprayed in the face in a robbery attempt.
The girls, from the Chloe Salon in Benijofar, were sprayed with a perfume-like substance but managed to escape, get out of the salon and lock the door quickly behind them. They are now being treated and checked over in Torrevieja Hospital where they report there are another four people sitting in emergencies with the same condition, raising fears a gang is in operation in the area.
The police have been in attendance and are investigating. The two men looked to be of South American origin and a third was in a white van.
