MIJAS Council has announced a bicycle track in the Osunillas area of the village will be converted to create open-air sports facilities.Municipal workers will be preparing an athletics track on the site to provide more space for members of the local athletics school who currently train at San Sebastian school.Football goalposts are also to be moved from a nearby park to the area as residents have been complaining about balls hitting their houses.The work will also serve to tidy up the grounds, which Councillor Juan Carlos Gonzalez admitted were in a bit of a mess.
