Crime rate falls

CRIMINAL offences fell in the Valencia Region during the first quarter of 2015, compared to the same period last year.
According to data, recorded crimes and offences fell by 5.4 per cent. In Alicante Province, criminal offences fell by 4.6 per cent, with crimes rates in the province now standing at 51.6 crimes per 1,000 inhabitants; a drop of 19.5 points compared to the rates of 2007 when there was 68.3 per cent.
