PLANS have been announced for a new aquapark expected to create 1,000 jobs and attract an estimated 900,000 extra visitors to the Costa del Sol every year.The park is planned by Marbella Leisureland Investments on a 62,000 square metre plot by the old Don Miguel hotel and is to include 28 slides and attractions running a total of 4,000 metres.While Marbella Mayor Angeles Muñoz said that the new attraction, planned to open for the summer of 2017, will be a great boost to the city, company representative Tarek Bukai explained that it is a unique project which will be known worldwide.
