THE Senior Citizens’ Department of Rincon de la Victoria Council has announced a new home-catering initiative for residents who benefit from the home-care (Ayuda a Domicilio) municipal service.The new service has been earmarked for residents who cannot carry out ordinary day-to-day activities due to illness or disability, and will offer a daily menu with lunch, afternoon snack and dinner, created by a nutritionist according to each user’s needs.“With this service we want to guarantee residents a healthy diet and also promote eating habits which are appropriate for them,” said the mayor, Francisco Salado, during the presentation event, carried out at the town’s seniors centre.All 190 residents who benefit from the home-care service can now request the catering, provided by company Clece.
