Another fire on Montgo – Difficult to access area

YET another fire that broke out on the Montgo on the Javea side, reported at around 7pm on Monday 25 May, saw the occupants of six homes evacuated.
Two fire-fighting units and six air assets assisted in bringing the fire under control within a couple of hours, after which residents were able to return home.
The fire was in a particularly difficult area to access. The cause of the blaze is as yet unknown.
