Game of Thrones returning to Spain?

SPANISH fans of HBO’s smash hit show Game of Thrones will be jumping for joy to hear talk of the hugely popular TV show returning to Spain next season. Insiders say eyes are firmly set upon the Spanish city of Girona as a potential location to film the next installment.
Having already filmed on Spanish soil, in cities like Seville and Osuna, for season five, chairman of TV production company Endemol Spain, Jordi Bosch, expressed some hope and teased fans when he said there was a, “very big possibility that the next season of Game of Thrones will be filmed in the city of Girona.”
HBO have yet to confirm, but it looks likely!
