Travel writers in Torrevieja

ICELANDIC travel writers have been in Torrevieja on a press trip. Five journalists visited the city as part of the trip organised by the Tourist Board of the Costa Blanca, in collaboration with the Spanish Tourist Office in Oslo.
Journalists, accompanied by personnel from the Department of Tourism, took a bicycle tour through the Natural Park of the Laguna de la Mata and Torrevieja and visited the salt lakes, showing interest in their original and unique extraction process of the salt.
Following the visit to Torrevieja, the group made their way to Villena, Altea, Javea and Alicante to see first hand the tourism in the province of Alicante.
