CAMPOVERDE Theatre Group will be holding an evening of music and mirth with their latest show ‘Let Us Entertain You.’
The show has many styles of music with something for everyone and many short comedy skits to make you chuckle. This well known theatre group is busy rehearsing and putting the finishing touches to the production which will have you singing along and stamping your feet.
Campoverde Theatre Group always supports local charities and over the years has given considerable sums of money to many of the charities that help people living on the southern Costa Blanca. Last year they nominated Reach Out as their principle charity and for this show they have elected to support the new charity AMMA (Alzheimer’s Mar Menor Association) which one of the group’s members was instrumental in forming.
AMMA was formed specifically to offer day care to people with Alzheimer’s and offer carers a little respite. AMMA identified the need to provide day care support to people with the many stages of the disease and provide care in both English and Spanish. One of the major issues with Alzheimer’s is the degree it isolates both the sufferer and their carers and day care is one means of helping with social integration.
