FOR more than a decade Ritz has been providing quality and style for the people of Alfaz del Pi.
It began on a small scale, serving excellent tapas and drinks but in 2003 expanded and transformed into the elegant and gorgeous restaurant it is today, seating 60 inside and 40 on its peaceful terrace overlooking the blue Mediterranean.
Owner Esther Dierkes explained how the vision developed: “We wanted to give a feeling of luxury, together with a relaxed ambience. We also changed the menu to the brasserie style that we still serve today.”
The menu certainly bears testament to Esther’s attention to sourcing the best quality ingredients from around the world. You can choose from Dutch shrimps, jumbo Tiger Prawns from Thailand, Chateaubriand and the Ritz’s speciality, Alaskan King Crab Legs.
Quality runs through the entire menu – Ritz’s famous club sandwich is so popular that when they discussed removing it there was uproar from their customers and as Esther said: “We decided it is best to stay with the best.”
The team that ensures this oasis of culinary delight runs smoothly is more like a family. Everyone works towards the same goal, providing the customers with a standard that exceeds expectation. Esther said: “We will never rest on our laurels, we will always continue to strive to go further with our service for our customers.”
And their loyal customers definitely agree. The family Ritz takes pride in knowing old customers by name but also welcomes new ones with the same warm hospitality – so much so that one pair of customers eat there twice a day for the duration of their stay.
Ritz is fine dining within a relaxed environment but it has another side. A professional sound system and complementary lighting transforms the venue into a dazzling party experience attracting hosts to hold the most original and exclusive parties in the area. The theme nights are legendary with the restaurant and the staff dressed to suit the night’s theme.
Ritz is also available for private hire for birthdays, anniversaries or weddings, with any event tailored to clients’ requirements, ensuring that everything is perfect. The word ‘no’ does not exist at Ritz -they can even arrange for you to arrive by helicopter.
