TWO Local Police officers in Nerja have issued an official report against the town council as they claim they have not received their wages for public holidays worked in 2013.
Trade union SIP-AN said in a statement that police officers have the rights to additional days off or a salary for working during public holidays. These two officers claimed to have requested their wages on four different occasions, but to no avail.
“The council already had several other charges for alleged workplace harassment and data protection issues amongst others,” reads the statement.
The council has not yet commented on the issue.
