ALMUÑECAR is aiming to draw attention from Spanish holidaymakers with a campaign designed to promote the area in the northern regions of Spain.
The Municipal Tourism Department of Almuñecar and La Herradura last week carried out an intense campaign in Zaragoza, Vitoria, San Sebastian and Bilbao, holding meetings with more than 300 travel agents in the area to offer them the chance to check out what the town has in stock for visitors.
Head of the Department, Felipe Puertas, explained that the promotion forum was developed through workshops, and stressed the excellent reception, describing the experience as “very positive”.
