THE reopening of one of the two illegal car parks closed down last year in the Ses Covetes beach area (Campos) has forced local authorities to step in.
“At around noon we had to attend the area and file an official report due to the alleged unauthorised commercial activity,” said head of the Local Police, Guillem Roser, who reported that the illegal car park’s management was charging €6 to each vehicle.
“We do not have the permission to close it down yet, but have written a report that will be delivered to the town hall for experts to revise and act accordingly,” said Roser.
