NEW AMBULANCE: Will offer cutting edge equipment.
HOSPITAL Quirón Torrevieja has launched a new ambulance service which will offer cutting edge basic life support equipment including a defibrillator, a portable ventilator and several materials and medications for patient care.The new ambulance service consists of an assistance vehicle, mobile ICU (intensive care unit) designed to address all types of emergencies, like traffic accidents, for example and transfers of patients to hospital. In this way, Quirón says it is taking another step in the expansion of health care coverage and is offering a comprehesive high quality service to its patients that is immediate.The regional director of Grupo Hospitalario Quirón for the Levante area, Rafael Giménez, emphasised “the importance of offering quality services for the population of the Vega Baja area, which characterises the Grupo Hospitalario Quirón.” The number for emergencies/ambulance is 966 925 779.
