Gib marine police in high-speed chase at sea

GIBRALTAR’S marine police chased two drug-smuggling jet skiers out of the British territory’s waters today.
The suspicious jet skiers, who were believed to have come from Morocco, were initially spotted in the Straits of Gibraltar by the on duty coastguard.
During the pursuit, £150,000 worth of cannabis was thrown into the sea by the smugglers, in an attempt to escape from the police.
It is reported that they were last seen heading towards Puente Mayorga, Cadiz, Spain.
