Torrevieja and the sea

TORREVIEJA and the Sea is the latest gastronomic event to be held in the city.
Launched by councillor for Hospitality and Tourism, Luis Maria Pizana, along with the President of the Hospitality Association of Torrevieja, José Antonio Lozano and his deputy, Luis Miguel Blanco, the event is being held from Monday June 8 to June 13. Six restaurants are taking part where diners can sample their special set menus for the price of €50.
The first restaurant offering the meal is El Puerto on June 8; followed by La Encina on June 9; Vela Beach June 10; Restaurante Catalina June 11; Asador Arroceria La Dehesa on June 12 followed by Restaurante Barlovento on June 13.
The councillor said the event was one of the most important in the gastronomic calendar in the city giving visitors the chance to sample the local culinary excellence at lower prices.
