Blowout causes tailback chaos

A CAR being driven down Cami Cabanes in Javea on Thursday June 4 at around 4pm suffered a tyre burst and ended up on its roof.
The white Seat saloon was being driven by a British couple when the offside front tyre blew, causing the vehicle to spin out of control and turn over.
The Guardia Civil assisted by the Policia Local directed the traffic while the car was removed from the road. The couple were helped out of the wreckage and taken to a waiting ambulance. It is not thought they had serious injuries.
