Torre del Mar beaches named in Spain’s top ten

TORRE DEL MAR beaches have been rated by Spanish paper El Pais’s travel supplement amongst the 10 most outstanding beaches in Spain.
Mayor of Velez-Malaga, Francisco Delgado Bonilla, congratulated all institutions involved in the coast’s maintenance and management of beaches for the positive reviews.
“This new distinction is the result of everyone’s work,” said Mr Delgado. He continued: “During this term we have intensely worked 365 days of the year so that Torre del Mar beaches are always in their best condition. Torre del Mar is our flagship in terms of tourism and we have carried out a comprehensive transformation across its streets and coasts such as the redevelopment of its seafront and the restoration of its lighthouse, amongst others.”
