Netflix arrives in Spain

THE world’s biggest online TV provider Netflix will arrive in Spain next October.
“This autumn, internet users in Spain will be able to subscribe to Netflix and gain immediate access to a wide selection of TV series and movies in HD and Ultra HD 4K, on virtually any screen connected to the internet,” said the company in a statement.
The company will offer a one-month free subscription as a way to open in the Spanish market.
The platform was launched in Europe three years ago, firstly in Britain and Ireland, then expanding in October of 2014 to Germany and France amongst other countries.
The monthly price of the service in its Spanish version has not yet been released, although it is expected to be equal to other European countries where the average subscription costs €8 and €12 for a premium subscription which allow users to watch content in 4K.
The url https://www.netflix.com/es/ is already available and users can enter their e-mail to be alerted when the service becomes available in the country.
