Suspected burglar caught

GUARDIA Civil officers from the Albox post have arrested a 34 year old man from El Ejido for suspected burglary in Zurgena.
Officers were called to a Los Llanos del Peral home, where the residents reported having been burgled.
Just minutes later, a police patrol spotted a car coming out of a copse of trees with parts of the number plates concealed.
After stopping the car and searching it, the officers found a television set, two laptop computers, jewellery, three mobile phones, an MP3 player, a tablet PC, a radio and perfume in the boot, all of which had disappeared from the burgled home.
The suspect was remanded in custody.
