Storm alerts in 27 provinces

ALTOGETHER 27 provinces in Spain are under yellow alerts today (June 11) for rain and storms.
Yellow alerts are in place in many parts of the country for storms and heavy rain, and the AEMET State Weather Agency has predicted much of central and northern Spain will be covered with cloud with the probability of rain, storms and even hail in some areas.
Rainfall was reported to be less likely in Galicia, western Cantabria, western Castilla y Leon and Andalucia, where cloudy spells with small showers and light storms were possible.
While temperatures are expected to rise in the north, in the rest of the mainland they were reported as likely to drop slightly.
