Sao Paulo politicians visit Arta’s solar farms

REPRESENTATIVES of the Sao Paulo (Brazil) regional government, led by Energy Deputy Secretary Milton Flavio, arrived in Arta last Monday (June 8).
The representatives, who were welcomed by Acting Mayor Bartomeu Gili, visited the town to learn more about the technology, construction process and other facts about solar farms already built on the island, as this market is currently expanding in their home country.
Jaima Sureda and Pedro Vaquer, who accompanied the politicians, are two Artaborn entrepreneurs who left the town six years ago to create the solar-energy company Solatio in the Sao Paulo, and have created the solar farms of Bellpuig and S’Estelrica.
