New craft for Motril’s Guardia Civil

MOTRIL’S Guardia Civil police force now has a new motorboat to improve service of the Provincial Maritime Service of the Granada province.
This new craft is now part of the team made up by the Rio Aragon and Rio Genil boats, based in the Motril Port.
The new ship has been paid for by the central government and European funds. It is 10.45 metres long and is equipped with environmentally-friendly engines.
It is expected to be used in the rescue of migrants, and has capacity for around 30 people.
