Fashionistas brave torrential rain to raise money for charity

DESPITE torrential rain and thunderstorms, the Paul Cunningham Nurses Charity Fashion Show went full steam ahead last week at the Quesada Country Club, with the show being moved indoors.
Paul Cunningham Nurses Charity wish to thank everyone who braved the elements and supported the charity, including stall holders: “We also wish to thank the hard-working staff and owners of the Quesada Country Club, Open Car who kindly donated the cava and of course a huge thank you to Mike Thornton from Lifecare Services, who was the Master of Ceremonies for the evening and brought fun and laughter to the show. Kristoff Wright donated his time and took wonderful photos of the volunteer models in their stunning outfits.”
The evening raised a total of €795 and all monies raised will go to the charity.
The next event in aid of Paul Cunningham Nurses Charity, which works to provide vital end of life care for patients, is at The Posh Club, urbanisation La Marina on July 1 for a Hawaiian Night. Bella Luna will also be back performing at the Quesada Country Club on August 15. Tickets will go on sale towards the end of July.
