Wine club supports Alzheimer’s charity

MEMBERS of El Raso Wine Club agreed to give a donation to a local charity and the Torrevieja Association of Friends and Relatives of Alzheimer’s Sufferers (AFA) was chosen for the second year running.
AFA volunteer Jennie Mutter was present at the recent meeting of the club and was presented with €200 by Elaine Wheatley, treasurer of the club. Jennie thanked members for their generosity and then gave a short talk about the service that AFA provides to Alzheimer’s sufferers in the Torrevieja area, almost all of which is paid for by charitable donations such as this.
