Fundraisers win cruise

CRUISE WINNERS: Annette and Dave English with restaurant owner Andres and his wife Berne, with President of Torrrevieja Stroke Support, Lilybeth Stevens.

ANNETTE ENGLISH and her husband David, official fundraisers for The Children’s Care Home in Elche, were the winners of a Mediterranean cruise at the latest Charity Night at El Alto La Dolores Restaurant in Guardamar.
Annette and Dave work tirelessly in a number of roles to support the children in the home. They attend almost all the fundraising events arranged for their charity, but on this occasion they had the night off, as the event was in aid of Torrevieja Stroke Support and walked away with top prize on the night; a Mediterranean cruise. The prize was made even more special by the fact that it was Dave’s birthday
Torrevieja Stroke Support also benefited from the night, which raised €804 which will go a long way in helping them support stroke victims.
On July 1, Woody will again be entertaining diners at El Alto La Dolores and helping to raise funds for The Alzheimers Association (AFA). Woody is one of the most popular entertainers on the Costa Blanca, and tickets to see him sell out very quickly. Tickets cost €10 including a two-course meal and can be purchased from El Alto La Dolores; The Post Room Benijofar or The Card Place in Benimar. Restaurant owner, Andres, has donated another Mediterranean cruise as first prize in the raffle so don’t miss the boat!
